Medium Hemp Wax Bag - Natural
I am delighted to offer this new sustainable addition to our product range. The bag is made here in South Australia from a blend of Hemp & GOTS certified organic cotton. The top of the bag has extra support to keep the bags shape, which helps it to stay upright when turned upside down to dry after cleaning. The top will not interfere when folding over to seal the bag.
To use, you simply place your items in the bag, press the top together & roll over to seal. I often use it to store a mix of veggies as I can then find them easily in the fridge.
The standard bag is a generous size, enabling it to be used for many different tasks. It is ideal as a larger lunch bag, storing any fruit or fresh vegetables, fresh herbs, eggs, bread rolls. Team it up with our large hemp bag for keeping your bread fresh.
How to care for your Standard Bag: If you need to clean your bag, then either wipe the inside with a cloth or wash in cold water with a little detergent, hold the top together and shake up and down, then rinse and turn upside down to air dry (I use the dish rack). Fold to store in a drawer or cupboard until required. Please do not place your bag in the Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave or expose it to any other heat source, as this will damage the wax coating and shorten the life of your bag.
Your bag is strong, especially when made with hemp and will last you a very long time. When it does reach the end of its useful life, you can chop it up and place in the green waste or tear into strips after cutting through the top, roll into a ball and use to light your fire or Fire Pit. You can place it into a pot or ground for your favourite plant!
Reason I choose to use Hemp: Hemp requires very little water, is pest resistant (no chemicals required) & is beneficial to the soil. It protects the soil from toxins and erosion. It is a strong & durable fibre & I have chosen to use this fabric because of all these factors, which are in line with my overall approach to practical sustainability.
Ingredients: Hemp & GOTS certified organic cotton, local filtered beeswax, natural tree resin and Jojoba.
Bag Measures: Width 20cm x Height 28cm x Gusset 11cm
